By Groth was founded by Mette Groth and her brother Mik. It was Mik, who encouraged Mette to start her own business. While he took care of the financial side of things, Mette’s other brother Martin Groth was in charge of the “sales department”. The designs were put into production, and By Groth had become reality. Mik and Mette ran the business from her apartment in Copenhagen – their ambition was to create an international brand with a feminine profile, including high quality styles with an excellent fit and lots of unique details.
